Intervention operations in narrow well bays or cellars can be difficult, time consuming and risky. Traditional tools are heavy, long and utilize stuffing boxes, often requiring hoisting equipment and additional personnel to perform operations. Adequate clean-up and/or refreshing of dirty, damaged and/or corroded VR profiles is often required. Old VR plugs and valves can be hard to unscrew due to high friction.
